Seagulls Score Late to Beat Pobladores, 2-1

The Los Angeles Pobladores wasted an impressive 7-inning effort from starter Dan Turner, falling, 2-1, to the San Francisco Seagulls in 10 innings at San Vicente Park. Dan Wood snagged the win in relief. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits over 2 innings. He's now 1-0 on the season. San Francisco, with the win, is 3-1.
Bob Russell had a direct impact on the outcome. Russell contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the tenth inning to put San Francisco up, 2-1.
