Wranglers Come Back Late to Top Emeralds, 6-2
Dallas turned a good effort from starter Charlie Sokol into a win over the Seattle Emeralds at Puget Field. The Wranglers won the game, 6-2. Sokol, who is tied for 5th in the ABL in wins with 5, went the distance for Dallas. He gave up 2 runs on 7 hits. The victory gives the Wranglers a record of 22-16.

Dallas used the timely hitting of Toby Golf to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a run-scoring single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Wranglers on top, 3-2. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"It's always a heck of a lot easier to get to sleep after a win," Golf told the Dallas Herald. "I know I'll rest easy tonight."
