Generals Prevail, 4-2, Over Boston
|
Atlanta Generals starter George Palmer hurled his team past the Boston Terriers, 4-2. Frank Noorani earned the save for Atlanta. The Generals, now 3-1, have played some good baseball in the early going.
Shortstop Kyle Devine made an impact for Atlanta, when he swatted a run-scoring double off Ken Torkelson in the bottom of the second. For the contest, Devine went 1-2 with a double and a walk.
Boston manager Jonah Placeholder said he was "mildly disappointed" with the loss. "We had our opportunities, but we didn't take advantage of them," he said.
