Pobladores Pull Out Late-Game Win, 5-4
Los Angeles beat Dallas at San Vicente Park, eking out a 5-4 win. The triumph was primarily due to first baseman Chuck Gunter. He was 2-4 with a home run and was hit by a pitch. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Los Angeles reliever Shane Frassrand was the winner. His record is now 1-1. Frank Dunn took the loss. The victory makes Los Angeles 14-26.

Darrell Martin was the walk-off hero for Los Angeles. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Pobladores catcher hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"We fed off the energy of the crowd at the end," Martin said.
