Bobcats Send New York Home with 6-1 Loss
Rick Tomlinson pitched a gem to lead Cleveland to victory over the New York Knickerbockers, 6-1. Joe Clabaugh, summoned from the bullpen, notched his 7th save. Cleveland has an impressive 26-13 record.

The Bobcats got a big at-bat from left fielder Bill Harper. For the game, Harper was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the top of the third, with a runner on 2nd, he stroked a run-scoring triple. His 2nd triple of the season gave Cleveland a 2-1 lead.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Tomlinson.
