Eagles Rocked By Bluebirds, 10-1
The home crowd had a good time watching the Washington Eagles and Brooklyn Bluebirds get after it.

Greg Landrum knocked in 3 runs to help Brooklyn beat Washington, 10-1. Landrum produced 3 singles and 1 home run. The Brooklyn winning streak has reached 3 games.

Oscar Gonzalez had a big 2-run triple for the Bluebirds in the bottom of the third inning. With Brooklyn leading 2-0 and runners on 2nd and 3rd, he got a sinker from Alex Fonseca, who is tied for 2nd in the NBL in innings pitched with 71.2, and swatted a triple to right-center. It was his 1st triple of the season, and more importantly, it put the Bluebirds ahead, 4-0.

"Whenever we hold the other team to one run," said Bluebirds manager John Meeker, "I like our chances."
