Twin Cities right-hander Gerald Gross pitched his team to victory over the San Francisco Seagulls at Twin Cities Stadium. The final score was 4-3. The win elevated the Northmen to 25-15.
Antonio Morales, who finished 4th in the ABL in doubles with 28 in 1968, helped out the Twin Cities cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a run-scoring sacrifice fly. For the game, the left fielder drew 1 walk.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said San Francisco skipper Al Borie.
