Industrials Drop 7-4 Decision to Bluebirds
|
Brooklyn and Pittsburgh duked it out and the Bluebirds came out victorious.
The Brooklyn Bluebirds trumped the Pittsburgh Industrials, 7-4, at Allegheny Field. Brooklyn first baseman Ron Freeman was terrific. He went 2 for 4 with a home run. He scored 2 times and drove in 3. Dave Norman stitched up the save, his 8th.
Early in the game, Freeman had a 3-run home run for Brooklyn. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Bluebirds on top, 3-0.
"Anytime you're seeing it well, it's a good feeling," Freeman told the Brooklyn Citizen.
Brooklyn has run its win streak to 4 in a row.
