Hurons Stymied by Generals, Dubyak
|
Atlanta Generals starter Scott Dubyak kept the Toronto Hurons hitters in check, leading his team to a comfortable 6-1 win. Atlanta has won 6 straight, while Toronto has lost 3 in a row.
Dubyak, who dominated for Atlanta, earned the victory to move to 6-2. He was in control the whole game, scattering 4 hits over 9 innings, while striking out 7. Toronto batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.
"Scott's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie.
