The Los Angeles Blockbusters handed the Kansas City Bulls a 6-3 defeat at Blockbuster Stadium. Second Baseman Bill May starred for Los Angeles. He was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Los Angeles goes to 21-21, Kansas City to 21-20.

The Blockbusters got a big at-bat from catcher Ed Jacques. For the game, Jacques went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the bottom of the second, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 2nd home run of the season gave Los Angeles a 2-0 lead.
