George Palmer had an impressive outing at Dominion Field, hurling the Atlanta Generals to a 3-0 shutout victory over the Toronto Hurons.
"He threw strikes and he was always around the plate," Toronto skipper Jim Burns said. "The ball was doing everything he wanted it to do. We hit some balls hard, but they were all right at the fielders."
On the day, the left-handed Palmer yielded 8 hits and tallied 7 strikeouts with 1 walk.
