Slumping Burros Lose Again
The Pittsburgh Industrials defeated the Denver Burros, 4-2, at Allegheny Field. Pittsburgh first baseman Alex Robinson had a superb performance. He slugged 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. Ray Williams was credited with the save for Pittsburgh, his 5th of the season. Pittsburgh has now won 4 straight, while the Burros have lost 7 in a row.

Robinson had a game-changing home run in the bottom of the seventh. On a 1-2 curveball from John Suozzo, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Industrials a 4-2 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for Robinson.

"The bar for us is not a particular opponent, it's ourselves," said Pittsburgh manager Vincent Wicker.
