Dairymen Win at St. Louis, 7-2
|
A good performance from shortstop Cliff Bragg helped the Milwaukee Dairymen defeat the St. Louis Explorers, 7-2. Bragg was 3-3 with 3 singles and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once for the Dairymen. Milwaukee now sits at 19-23, while St. Louis falls to 23-20.
Guillermo Morales drove in one run for Milwaukee. The former first round draft pick had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring sacrifice fly off Ken Morrison. It was his 15th RBI of the season.
"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Morales.
