Generals left fielder Ed Mika left his mark on his team's 8-3 win over the Boston Terriers. Mika, who finished 4th in the ABL in home runs with 29 last year, went 2-3 with a triple and 2 walks, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once for Atlanta in the contest. The winning pitcher was Ron Cwiklinski. He's now 2-2. He went 6 innings, allowing 3 runs on 10 hits for the Generals. The last-place Generals bumped their record to 20-22.

Armando Lima had a big run-scoring double for the Generals in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Atlanta leading 4-3 and a runner on 1st, he got a fastball from Sergio Cisneros and swatted a double to right-center. It was his 4th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Generals ahead, 5-3.

Mika said his team "played with determination."
