Brooklyn pitcher Mike Blalock did his part in helping his team defeat the Philadelphia Quakers, 7-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Blalock got the win, improving to 1-0. He gave up 7 hits and walked 2 over 7 innings. He allowed 2 runs. The loss drops Philadelphia to 3-2.
