Dallas shortstop Don Hughes had 4 ribbies while helping his team defeat the San Francisco Seagulls, 7-3. The Wranglers improved to 27-18.
Hughes had a game-changing home run in the top of the eighth. On a 1-2 sinker from Dan Wood, he banged a grand slam home run to right-center, giving the Wranglers a 7-3 lead. It was the 1st home run of the year for Hughes.
"We believe in ourselves and we're willing to work hard. It's a good combination," Hughes told the Dallas Herald.
