The Boston Terriers faced a tough opponent in Baltimore pitcher Larry Diego, but did just enough to pull out the victory at Seton Hill Stadium by a final score of 5-3. Diego went 7 innings and allowed 1 run. The Terriers go to 18-25, putting them last in the American Baseball League Eastern Division.

The game was at a stalemate until left fielder Angel Gutierrez came to bat in the top of the 15th. Facing Baltimore pitcher Diego Favela, he hit a 1-2 fastball for a 2-run single. It was a game-changer, putting Boston on top, 5-3.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Gutierrez.
