Hit Parade: Cassill Pops 5 Hits

Alan Cassill said "it felt like taking batting practice" at Flatbush Park, and it showed in the box score. The Washington left fielder had a fantastic 5-for-5 day against the Brooklyn Bluebirds, leading his club to victory, 9-1.
"I was seeing the ball very well and it was going just about anywhere I wanted," Cassill said later."
