The Brooklyn Bluebirds downed the Cleveland Bobcats, 10-4, at Flatbush Park. Mike LeDuc led the way, going 3-for-4 for Brooklyn. Damon Rutherford picked up the win with 7 innings of work. He allowed 4 runs on 6 hits, while walking 3 and striking out 2. On the season, he is now 4-4. So far in 1970, Brooklyn is 22-24.

With Brooklyn trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the second, LeDuc hit a slider from Doug Leonard for a 2-run triple. It was his 2nd triple of the season and put the Bluebirds ahead, 2-1.
