The Dallas Wranglers, behind a great outing from Steve Coomes, who is a three-time All-Star, defeated the Detroit Wolverines, 3-1, at Wolverine Field. In 7 innings, Coomes surrendered 3 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 1. He allowed 1 run. The save was credited to Art Stager, his 3rd.
