Giardina Helps Northmen Win, 5-2, with Pair of Homers
Twin Cities and Seattle duked it out and the Northmen came out victorious.

Rick Giardina was a vital contributor to the 5-2 Twin Cities victory over Seattle. The Northmen catcher was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. The Northmen now have a record of 21-25.

The game turned with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Giardina hit a 3-run home run off Denny Goldberg. It propelled the Northmen into the lead, 5-2.

"This kind of win will certainly make our fans happy," Giardina told the Twin Cities Daily News.
