Packers Lose to Quakers in Walk-Off
Philadelphia registered a win at Quakers Stadium by beating the Cincinnati Packers, 4-3. Pitcher Fred Harrison was one reason why the Quakers triumphed. With the win, Philadelphia upped its record to 26-21.

The decisive blow was delivered by Joe Voss in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run double off 26-year old right-handed pitcher Brian Williams to win the game for Philadelphia. The home crowd went nuts.

"This place was electric at the end," Voss said.
