Seagulls Make Hawks 3-2 Losers
|
San Francisco Seagulls starter Ramon Juarez turned in a sparkling performance against the Chicago Hawks, leading his team to a 3-2 win. The Seagulls sport a record of 33-16.
Rick Stafne had a direct impact on the outcome. Stafne contributed a run-scoring sacrifice fly in the top of the fifth inning to put San Francisco up, 2-0.
"We came out on the wrong end of this one," said Chicago skipper Mike Flaherty.
