The Montreal Habitants extended their winning streak.

The Montreal Habitants went home winners at Atlantic Station Field, thanks in large part to starter Rich Barron. Barron stifled the Atlanta Generals, enabling Montreal to grab the 5-1 win. Montreal has run its win streak to 6 straight.

Who knows how it would've ended, had it not been for Oscar Corte? The former first round draft pick Corte stroked a run-scoring double in the top of the eighth inning to put Montreal up, 2-1. For the game, he was 2 for 3, including 1 double and 1 single.

"I felt good up there," said Corte. "I saw the ball well."
