Bulls Defeat Blockbusters, 6-5
Bulls fans were sent into a frenzy with a walk-off win.

Emilio Cortez was instrumental in his team's 6-5 triumph over the Los Angeles Blockbusters. The right fielder was 4-6 with a home run, a double, 2 singles, and was hit by a pitch, while scoring 2 times and driving in 3 for the Kansas City Bulls. The 6th-place Bulls now sit at 21-28.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 13th. With two out, Cortez hit a curveball from Basil Anderson for a run-scoring single. The Bulls, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"This game tested our mettle," said Cortez.
