Wright goes 4-for-5, Leads Knickerbockers to Win
With second baseman Steve Wright leading the charge, the New York Knickerbockers defeated the Philadelphia Quakers, 10-7, at Quakers Stadium. Wright, who is tied for 3rd in the NBL in triples with 4, went 4 for 5 with a home run, a triple, and 2 singles, while scoring 3. Ray Schifsky got credit for the win, improving to 5-3.
