Seagulls Come Up Short at Seattle, 3-2
The Seattle Emeralds and San Francisco Seagulls played an entertaining game for Puget Field patrons.

Javier Guerra made an impact in the 3-2 Seattle win over San Francisco. Guerra, who leads the ABL in stolen bases with 22, went 2 for 3 with a double and a walk, while scoring 2. The win went to Deward Collins in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Jerry Patrick took the loss.

Mike Green hit a run-scoring triple off Jerry Patrick in the bottom of the sixth, which put the Emeralds in front, 2-1. Green had 1 single, in addition to the triple. For the game, he went 2 for 4.

"There are no moral victories," said losing manager Al Borie.

The Emeralds now have a record of 27-23 with the win over San Francisco.
