Stark Finds Groove in 4-1 Triumph
Bryant Stark never let Toronto get something going. The New York right-hander commanded his curveball in pitching the Empires to a 4-1 win. Toronto drops to 3-2.

Stark was effective for New York, seldom allowing the Hurons to square up a pitch. The right-hander tossed 111 pitches over 9 innings. He limited Toronto to just 1 run on 5 hits.
