|
The Montreal Habitants went down to defeat to Gary Forgette and his Twin Cities teammates. The final score was 8-2, in favor of the Northmen. In 8 innings, Forgette surrendered 2 hits, while striking out 4 and walking 4. He allowed 2 runs. The Northmen move to 23-27 with the win, while the Habitants drop to 25-26.
The Northmen took advantage of an error in the bottom of the fourth inning. Twin Cities was leading 3-2 when Chris Berman hit a 2-run single that was misplayed. It put the Northmen in front, 5-2.
"I pretty much put my pitches where I wanted to," said Forgette.
