The Toronto Hurons picked up a win at Atlantic Station Field, taking down the Atlanta Generals, 5-4. Starting pitcher Joe Scott was a big reason why. The Hurons now have a record of 25-28.

Jack Banes was 2-5 with 2 singles for Toronto. The 26-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the top of the fifth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 2-2 tie with a run-scoring single off Ron Cwiklinski. It was his 30th hit of the season.

"Joe -- his tempo and rhythm were good," said Hurons manager Jim Burns. "He was the key to us winning."
