Keilman Shuts Out St. Louis, 2-0
|
Arnie Keilman was in command in his outing against the St. Louis Explorers. He hurled the Milwaukee Dairymen to a 2-0 shutout victory, yielded 6 hits and chalked up 6 strikeouts and no walks.
"A complete-game shutout is fun territory for me," he told reporters in the postgame interview. "I had good balance and mechanics and was able to keep the ball down. When I do that, good things happen."
To date this year, Keilman shows a 6-3 record, 10 starts, 69.2 innings, 32 strikeouts and a 3.49 ERA.
