The Houston Drillers took on the Twin Cities Northmen at Sam Houston Field.
In a well-pitched game between the Houston Drillers and the Twin Cities Northmen, pitcher Bill Switzer was fantastic. The Houston left-hander helped his team secure the win, 3-0. The Drillers saw their record improve to 24-28.
Switzer made it look easy. He scattered 3 hits over 7 innings, while racking up 9 strikeouts. The left-hander upped his season record to 2-2.
"Bill was really on it," said Houston manager Nate Nilsson. "He's got a feel for playing with the hitter front-to-back, side-to-side."
