Bobcats Squeeze Out Win in Pitching Duel
The Cleveland Bobcats banked on Bob Yolton and he turned in a masterful performance. The right-hander kept the Philadelphia hitters in check. The final score was 1-0, Bobcats. Cleveland is in 5th place in the National Baseball League Eastern Division with a record of 25-27.

With scoring opportunities rare, the Bobcats had to cash in when they had the chance. One such opportunity presented itself in the bottom of the fourth, when right fielder Tom Crowell hit a run-scoring single. The single came off Bob Freeland and made the score 1-0, Bobcats. Crowell went 1 for 3.
