Dallas got a terrific performance from pitcher Barry Gilmore, but it wasn't enough to beat the Twin Cities Northmen. Twin Cities won the Bluff Park contest, 4-1. Gilmore threw 9.0 innings of 7-hit ball for the losing team. The loss makes Dallas 29-24.

Twin Cities used a well-timed hit by Rick Giardina to capture the win. The catcher socked a bases-clearing double in the top of the fifth inning to put the Northmen ahead, 4-0. Though it was his only hit in 5 at-bats, it was important.

Twin Cities manager Jason Gudim called it "a pretty good win."
