The Dallas Wranglers defeated the San Francisco Seagulls, 4-3, at Mission Field. John Darnell produced 2 singles and 1 double, while scoring 1 run and driving in 2. Frank Dunn, credited with the win in relief, is now 1-9. He allowed no runs on 2 hits in 2.2 innings. The Wranglers go to 23-32, putting them 6th in the American Baseball League Western Division.

Darnell had a game-changing double in the top of the eighth. On a 2-2 changeup from Paul Wiley, he banged a run-scoring double to right, giving the Wranglers a 4-3 lead. It was the 10th double of the year for Darnell.
