Bulls Get 9-6 Win Versus Milwaukee
The Kansas City Bulls overcame a pretty good performance by Milwaukee center fielder Roberto Matallana, beating the Dairymen, 9-6, at Independence Field. Matallana went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. Mike Brown earned the win to go to 7-2. He allowed 5 runs on 11 hits, with 2 walks and 3 strikeouts in 7.2 innings of work. The save went to Bob Crosby, his 17th this season.

Bob Anderson was 3 for 5 with a triple and a double for Kansas City. The 28-year old center fielder had a key at-bat in the bottom of the third. With one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring single off Antonio Cuadra. It was his 46th hit of the season.

"I like our moxie," said Bulls manager DD Martin.
