Empires Rally to Eke Out Win
The New York Empires topped the Baltimore Lords, 2-1, in American Baseball League action at Queens Field. The standout performance belonged to New York pitcher and Guaynabo, Puerto Rico, native Danilo Molina. Today's win puts New York at 25-29, while Baltimore falls to 17-38.

New York got a knockout punch from Buck DeFalco. The right fielder hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the tenth inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

Molina called the win "an overall solid one."
