Generals Topple Terriers with Late Rally
The Atlanta Generals picked up a win at Atlantic Station Field, knocking off the Boston Terriers, 4-2. Starting pitcher Bill Davis was a big reason why. Atlanta reliever Steve Papa snagged the win, upping his record to 2-2. Ken Torkelson shouldered the loss. Ron Winder picked up the save, his 8th.

Had Frank Bohley not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and the bases loaded, Bohley hit a 2-run single. That made the score 4-2, in favor of the Generals.

After the game, Atlanta manager Philipe Yazzie applauded the team's effort. "They busted their humps out there," he said.

The setback makes Boston 21-32.
