Lords Slap 6-3 Loss on New York
|
The Baltimore Lords picked up a win at Queens Field, topping the New York Empires, 6-3. On the mound for Baltimore was left-hander Bart Dunsley. He played a principal role in the triumph. Dunsley yielded 3 runs over 7 innings to notch the win. He scattered 5 hits, walked 2, and struck out 5. His record improves to 4-4. The Lords sport a record of 22-32.
Ed Campbell drew 1 walk in 4 trips to the plate for Baltimore. The top prospect had a key at-bat in the top of the fourth. With no one out and the bases loaded, he broke a 1-1 tie with a run-scoring walk off Nate Frampton. It was his 2nd walk of the season.
