New York starter Chris Hull kept the Cincinnati hitters in check, helping his team cruise to a win, 9-2. Cincinnati drops to 3-3.

A key moment came with one out in the bottom of the fourth. That's when Hull hit a sinker from John Stoddard for a 2-run single, putting New York up, 4-2.

"A confident pitcher is a dangerous thing," said New York manager Timothy Widholm. "That's what Chris is right now."
