Knickerbockers Fell Industrials, 5-2
The New York Knickerbockers earned a win at Knickerbocker Stadium, stopping the Pittsburgh Industrials, 5-2. Starting pitcher Ollie Hundley played a big role in his team's success. Tim McGovern finished to wrap up his 1st save. The loss drops Pittsburgh to 3-2.

Ron Brown dealt the Industrials a blow in the bottom of the fifth. Batting with the bases loaded and New York leading 2-1, Brown hit a first pitch fastball for a run-scoring single.

In comments to the New York Citizen, Brown admitted that he doesn't always push himself. "But the results," he said, "speak for themselves."
