Wranglers Lose to Hurons, 4-1
|
Behind an impressive start by Dan Crumm, Toronto beat Dallas, 4-1. Don LeoGrande was called on to finish, recording his 12th save. The 6th-place Hurons raised their record to 22-31.
The Hurons got a big hit from first baseman Ron Williams. In the bottom of the sixth, Williams pounded a solo home run to right. His 5th home run of the season put the Hurons ahead, 3-1.
"One win at a time, one game at a time. We try not to get too far ahead of ourselves," Williams told the Toronto Chronicle.
