Robinson Leads Charge, Pittsburgh Blasts Knickerbockers
The Pittsburgh Industrials handed the New York Knickerbockers a sound defeat, 13-3, at Knickerbocker Stadium. Alex Robinson was a main contributor to the win. He went 3-5 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk, while scoring 4 runs and driving in 4 for Pittsburgh. The win puts Pittsburgh at 30-25 this season.

With Pittsburgh leading 5-0 in the top of the fourth, Robinson came up to bat against New York pitcher Danny Abril. Robinson hit a fastball to right for a 3-run home run. His 8th home run of the season put the Industrials on top, 8-0.

New York manager Timothy Widholm said: "We'll rinse this one off and get ready for the next game."
