Baseball fans saw a good contest between the Houston Drillers and Seattle Emeralds.

Houston pitcher Syed Farooqi did his part in helping his team beat the Seattle Emeralds, 4-2. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The 'W' lifts Houston's record to 32-25.

Had Jackie Frost not delivered a key base hit in the bottom of the eighth, the outcome might have been different. Instead, with two down and a runner on 2nd, Frost hit a run-scoring single. That made the score 3-2, in favor of the Drillers.

Farooqi called the win a test of his team's "mettle."
