Dallas Gets 4-2 Road Win
Rick Adams left his imprint on the 4-2 Dallas win against the Houston Drillers. Adams, who finished 5th in the ABL in hits with 181 in 1969, went 4 for 4 with a triple and 3 singles. He scored 2 runs. Frank Dunn earned the save for Dallas, his 1st. With the win, Dallas elevates its record to 4-1.

The Wranglers got a big at-bat from catcher Terry McClellan. For the game, McClellan went 1-4 with a double, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with runners on 2nd and 3rd, he stroked a 2-run double. His 2nd double of the season gave Dallas a 2-0 lead.
