The Boston Terriers spoiled a good performance by Montreal catcher Marvin Walker, bumping off Montreal, 7-5, at LaSalle Stadium. Walker was 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 doubles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. The winner was Ron Gordon, who threw 118 pitches over 7 innings. The right-hander was charged with 5 runs on 12 hits. Layton Taylor, who is tied for 10th in the ABL in saves with 6, earned the save for Boston.
