Valenti Brings A-Game, Lords Beat Empires
Baltimore pitcher Dan Valenti had a large part in his team beating the New York Empires, 9-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters in check throughout the game. With the victory, the Lords upped their record to 31-25.

Valenti picked up the win. He's now 7-1, after putting the New York offense in the deep freeze. Over 7 innings, he allowed no earned runs on 2 hits.

"The key at this level is throwing strike one," said Valenti. "Successful pitchers do it."
