Pobladores Get Clutch Win, 6-5
The Los Angeles Pobladores downed the San Francisco Seagulls, 6-5, at San Vicente Park. Roger McCoy led the way, going 2-for-5 for Los Angeles. The win went to Carlos Novoa in relief. His record improves to 2-1. Reggie Eubanks took the loss. Los Angeles occupies 4th place in the American Baseball League Western Division at 30-27.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With two out, McCoy hit a slider from Reggie Eubanks for a run-scoring single. The Pobladores, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"We battled our tails off to get this win," said Los Angeles manager Alex Wobbema.
