Pobladores Suffer One-Run Loss at San Francisco
|
San Francisco Seagulls starter Tim Stambaugh found his groove in his team's 3-2 win over the Los Angeles Pobladores. The Seagulls have now won 5 straight.
There was more than one reason the Seagulls beat the Pobladores, but Stambaugh's big at-bat in the bottom of the fourth was an important factor. He staked his team to a 3-2 lead when he hit a run-scoring single.
"I was able to really locate my pitches tonight," said Stambaugh.
