Baltimore Lords starter Larry Diego hurled his team past the Detroit Wolverines, 2-1. Baltimore reliever Denny Boyd was the winner. His record is now 1-1. The losing pitcher was Jim Bryant. The loss drops the Wolverines to 4-2.

James Pendleton was the walk-off hero for Baltimore. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Lords second baseman hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.
