The Milwaukee Dairymen picked up a win at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium, knocking off the Kansas City Bulls, 5-1. Starting pitcher Juan Mendoza played a key role in the triumph. Milwaukee is now 29-31, while Kansas City is 33-26.

Charlie Fee, who finished 5th in the NBL in home runs with 33 in 1970, came through for Milwaukee with a 2-run home run in the bottom of the first. The catcher went 2 for 4 for the game, including 1 home run and 1 double. He scored 1 run and collected 4 RBI.
