Frampton Top-Notch as Empires Stop Hurons, 5-1
|
New York Empires starter Nate Frampton worked his magic, to help his team defeat the Toronto Hurons, 5-1. The win puts New York at 2-4.
Frampton was effective against the Hurons, seldom allowing a hard-hit ball. The right-hander limited Toronto to just 1 run on 4 hits over 8.1 innings.
"I went out and just tried to do my job," said Frampton.
