New York Stopped, 3-1, by Toronto
|
In a low-scoring contest, Toronto pitcher Dan Crumm was marvelous, enabling his team to nab a 3-1 win. After losing, New York is 4-2.
The Hurons picked up the win with a combination of good hitting and good pitching.
"Dan was exceptional and he pitched with a purpose," said Toronto manager Jim Burns.
