Milwaukee Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Milwaukee Dairymen defeated the Kansas City Bulls, 9-5, at Milwaukee Municipal Stadium. Milwaukee was led by 26-year old first baseman Tyree Davis, who went 1-2 with a home run, while adding 4 RBI and scoring once. The winner was Milwaukee reliever Dan Valenti, now 5-0. The loser was Dusty Solomon. Milwaukee is now 29-31, while Kansas City is 27-34.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the tenth. With two out, Davis hit a fastball from Dusty Solomon for a grand slam home run. The Dairymen, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"The fans went nuts at the end," Davis said.
