Blockbusters Pull Out Late Win, 11-10
The Los Angeles Blockbusters needed 10 innings to beat the Washington Eagles, 11-10, at Blockbuster Stadium. Harvey Katzen, for one, had a fine performance. He was 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 2. The Blockbusters are now 30-31.

The decisive blow was delivered by Andy Covarrubio in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 29-year old right-handed pitcher David Rodriquez to win the game for Los Angeles. The home crowd went nuts.

"Our team showed some gumption," said Katzen. "I like it."
